Third party controllers?

Sound shift controllers for the NES. Their third party controllers with a turbo feature and the capablity to plug directly into the red audio port on the nes. there by running the audio through the controller to head-phones (the head phone jack is on the controller it- self. Weird... though I could imagen that they'd be sweet for playing mario 3 at full volume at 3 am in your mom's basment

You mean the Joycard SSS controllers? They're from Hudson Soft and officially licensed. I'd say they're uncommon at most, not too hard to find unless you're looking for CIB. They're the only controllers AFAIK besides the Gizmo that act as an audio extension.
