Is that accurate or is it an up month for this cart? I have someone interested is it at $75 but am worried I have under priced it once I looked at the NA guide. What do other think?
In fact, NONE of the current completed auctions listed on eBay have an Action 52 cart that sold for $75, let alone more than that. I would jump at the chance if I were you.
Those numbers in the price guide must be inflated due to the sales of CIB copies. That's the only way I can explain it.
It's all over the place. It will settle down. You can find cheap listings for ANY game on the guide, also ones that went for far more. Nature of averaging thing.
The point is, on average, it's WAY up lately.
For more on how the guide is still useful despite temporary fluctuations and high-skewing listings, read this month's article about the guide, kind of a followup to last month's. It says a lot about what the guide is exactly, and how it's useful even when things happen like what you've seen with Action 52.
It's important to remember that you could be that $38 guy -- you could also be the $195 guy. That's why averages are still powerful when blips like that still occur.

When someone pays $195, it screws over the average pretty good
