Well done Mr Mark, I have one little cart left for my licensed (SE), and a very few carts left for the unlicensed, (panesians and myriad) Nothing a few grand wont fix, lol
can u guess the price paid? time taken? (if you know i'd love to hear, as i've kept track of every NES transaction and would like to see if i'm over or under)
Great job. I never realized how close I was as well until I just looked (need 25 licensed). If I stop being lazy and put some effort into it, I could complete it in the near future.
That really is amazing. I've tried putting together a complete 1956 Topps set. I got about half way done with it. Maybe thats encouragement for me to restart working on that set. I've pretty much given up on It. Its alot of time to buy all 342 of them. All of them are graded PSA 5 or higher.
Congratulations man, it's beautiful. How long have you been collecting? I've been at it seriously for about a year now, and at the rate it's going, I'm going to need at least six more before I get complete.
I second and third this!
Seriously, congrats on hitting your goal! I've still got fewer than 100, but this is the same goal I have!

As far as price, I don't even want to guess. I started my collection just before NES prices got crazy, so I did alright in the beginning.
I has a third of the way there even back then, being a poor college student at the time made it a slow process though. It was easier then to go to a flea market and actually find things I needed without going online. Hell, I didn't even have an EBay account until April of '07.
Nicely done, that's a big task. Now pile up all your games and roll around in them in your underwear. That's the initiation into the NTSC Complete Set Club.

As far as time is concerned, I managed to dig up this old RFgeneration post I made in March of '07: http://www.rfgeneration.com/forum/index.php?topic=309.435
