My name is Will. I am a retrogamer living in West Hazleton, PA.
I've stopped by nintendoage off and on, but hadn't really ventured into the forums until tonight after listening to the podcast.
Apart from classic video games, I'm a pretty big fan of stand-up comedy, classic animation and 1980s pop culture (movies, music, etc). In addition to collecting video games, I collect and trade VHS broadcast recordings of tv from the 80s and early 90s with the original commercials (particularly Saturday Morning cartoons, but I'm happy to recover anything). I'm in the process of converting each of them to DVD-R and Xvid to upload to streaming video sites. I started RetroVideo.info for this purpose, but the combination of ADD and not knowing my ass from a hole in the ground when it comes to web design have made the project take quite a while. I also collect animation cels, but I'm pretty new in the scene, so I only have three; one of which is a Frogger production cel from the old Saturday Supercade series. I'm hoping to add a Captain N cel of King Hippo and the Eggplant Wizard to my wall in the near future.
