  • Very cool. Strange though, since he was auctioning off all of his video game kiosks/arcades and stuff about 3 months or so ago.
  • is it just me, or is there a lot of late 90s stuff
  • I spot a Super Neo 29 and a Jaleco Pony. MJ has some good taste when it came to arcade cabs.

I heard that he pulled the plug on part of the auction, including the arcade stuff. I wonder if it will go on sale now.

the whole room (ceiling/lighting etc) looks dated... so I wouldn't be surprised if he put that room together in the late 90s and it probably hasn't been renovated since them.   Just guessing but really those track lights and that ceiling are pretty awful

the atmosphere in the room kind of looks like a department store.

The auction house that was supposed to sell his stuff also had an exhibition so the general public could see his collection (maybe after the auction was canceled?).  It was held near the Beverly Hilton hotel. I think these pictures were taken at this exhibition not at his estate.

  • ^ Exactly - this is not a video from Neverland Ranch or wherever else he kept his games. That "space" was set up by the auction house.
  • seems like michael was a sega fan...there are several sega objects: virtua racing machine, the 360 arcade machine, crazy taxi, a dreamcast kiosk ...maybe sega gave those away to him?
