I was wondering if all SNES consoles had the little plastic tab for holding the carts in place. It holds the carts in place when you turn on your console. So far I have only seen a few that have these.
I belive the main purpose of those tabs was so that you can't stick a Super Famicom game in there. Other then that, the system is completely capible of play Super Fami games, so maybe you have a few that people have clipped the tabs for that reason.
I know for fact that my first SNES I ever got (got it new, never tampered with it) didn't have these tabs. I bought a few Super Famicom games and they worked/played great!
