Preferred Official Controller Poll
Just wondered which controller people use the most.
I know it'll probably be the old faithful square original, but its just I've been playing the NWC repro quite a lot recently and my hands are raw because of its sharpish edges and concave buttons. So I had ago with a Dogbone controller and it just felt so much better, the buttons don't hurt one bit to press for prolonged periods etc like on rad racer.
The only downfall I've found is that on all 3 of my dogbone controllers the down button seems to not work as effectively on tetris as the original.
Maybe I should do a very short pit stop at the end of rad racer to switch over controllers, maybe it can be done with a four score/satellite?

Original square controller for sure: my hands grew up with that thing and now nothing else on earth feels more comfortable.
Same here but I had something like a 5 year break from the NES to the more ergonomic controller of the N64 and now my hands are letting me know they prefer analogue sticks and shoulder buttons.
I bet nobody chooses the Max. I used one of mine once on SMB, never did a koopa taunt me so much. Back in its box it went for all eternity.
actually i just did choose the max. in my defense it was highly modified haha
Your a braver man than I am, lol. Each to their own.
only thing that sucks is when playing for hours, u get nintendo finger. lol
thats when your 2 ring fingers get those sore lines on them from holding the back of the controller. happens to me all the time.

This might mean we have quite a few SNES fans amongst the ranks.
There is a controller from QuickShot though that comes in second for me. I've heard it referred to as the QS "Chimera" before, but I am not sure if that's a nickname or what. A little black controller with a GCN-esque thumbstick on the right and trigger B button and thumb A button with turbo. I've only ever seen it twice before in the wild and bought it both times.
Very highly recommended from me for games like Tiger Heli or Gun Smoke. OVerhead shooters beware!
