  • I think it's a pretty fair deal both ways, especially if you consider the security of buying from someone who maintains such a good reputation.

agreed with this. also, you have to take into account there were really 2 bidders on nick's sealed one (MRN helped bid that up a ridiculous amount). i still think the price overall for everything was a little on the high side, but as i said before, to knock everything out at once and to get it from someone who you know wont screw you demands a premium for sure. overall, it was a good deal for both sides.

That's a pretty common sentiment around here for sure, and there's definitely truth to it -- maintaining a boat is a pain, and boats are notorious money pits. Who knows, I've been puttin' off buying my Shelby for a while now, so I may just sport for that instead (or both, but I'd need to sell a few more toys!).

Dain- that KR series is pretty much my dream car. Good luck with the purchase. Please post pics when you get it.

Finally, some Shelby love! Heck yeah I'll post pics!

  • I would take even an 08 Shelby over an 88 Trans Am. Those things just scream Cheesy Hair metal way too much for me.

You are also comparing 20 years of different styles. Why dont you compare the 88 side by side? I dont think you would be rooting for the mustang afterall. Also, its not a typical trans am, its a GTA. image

Now if you compared a 2002 WS6 Firehawk to the 2002 Shelby.... Firehawk hands down.

And if you want to compare 08 models, then 08 Shelby vs 08 Camaro SS? 'Nuff said.

  • I have never really cared for Camaro's myself, they just don't do it for me. I like older Mustangs, but I must say that some of the nice new pimped out ones do look killer.

  • I want some pics when these things arrive!

(and if somebody wants to offer me a lot of money for my rare games, go for it image).

Say huh whah? Which Shelby are you talking about? The 300 or 500? An '08 Shelby GT500 would STOMP an '08 Camaro SS! The Camaro SS (426 HP) would stomp a Shelby GT (~300 HP).
