nice case, never seen one. Probably an accessory you could have bought when the GG was launched in Canada. Are the code book updates also Camerica? I used to have a brand new Camerica Game Genie, but sold it off years ago... maybe the blue case was packed with it?

Actually, the case isnt all that uber rare. (Well, at least I see them all the time when not looking for them). I have seen them in blue and black. The last debate I had about this with some collector friends was whether or not this case was for the NES or Genesis.
I mean, its the same size as the code books, and can fit either adaptor. But that's all I know, and just my $0.02 for the discussion.
The case must be for the NES, as it has the Camerica logo and the Genesis Game Genie was published by Galoob.
I had also seen the black one before, still need to find that one as well.
I've never seen that case, but I have a backpack made out of the same material and with the same logo.
That's cool. Camerica had a bunch of merchandise available through Tri-Star Promotions, including that backpack. There's 7 other items as well that could be bought with the GG logo, but the Game Genie case isn't included. I'm also starting to wonder if the cases came with the Game Genie. I do have both Camerica GG variants new, but they're still sealed and I'd prefer to keep them that way.

Unfortunately no. I have seen about 4 or so this year on the bay in the past 6 months (not black, just game genie holsters). I will keep my eyes out for one again. Man...I wish I would have picked it up now! I passed on it because I thought with as many times I had seen it, it most likely came in some kind of packaging. I do not collect accessory items unless it has packaging, or I will collect it if it never had packaging.

I don't have pics of any items, but drawings are shown on the "Join the Game Genie Team" insert that is included in the Canadian and Australian Game Genies. I don't have the insert with me right now, but off the top of my head you could get a GG t-shirt, sweatshirt, pin, drinking bottle, ballpoint pen, and two other items besides the backpack.
