  • Might as well send me the NWC cart now. Cause im going to win!!! LOL!
  • How are you going to win when I'm going to win? image
  • Only open to US residents. Good luck dudes.
  • How do you decide who wins what? Like comparing someone who writes in to people who buy something at the store?
  • He says they're chosen randomly, so maybe that means that what you write or post is meaningless, as long as you write something. image

    It's going to be a raffle/lottery, I assume.

If my guess about the raffle/lottery is correct, then this would likely be legal/tax fallout.

  • holy jesus, if we buy 5 small things compared to 5 big purchases does it hurt our chances?
  • Cool promotion!
  • If I win the NWC, will you sign it for me?

No purchase is necessary to win so it is not a lottery.  Buying something is one way to enter, but not the only way.  Tax wise, the winners are responsible for paying taxes on what they win.

Winners are chosen randomly.  It doesn't matter how you enter, via blog, video, or purchase.  Every entry is treated the same in terms of your chances to win.

Videos and blogs do have requirements in terms of length and substance.  The "Rules" page gives more details.  Basically they have to be of substance.  I don't want to see a bunch of one sentence "Because I want it" blogs.

  • Great promo JJ.

Submitted a pertinent video that also makes the shirt you wear in your avy invalid.
  • I hope my entry went through. Heh, I did all that writing for nothing, but at least I'm in it.
  • I say lock this up till Canadians are allowed to win as well. Time to make some sanctions here no more sending black box CAN games over the border till this international dilemma is resolved.
  • Cool, can't wait to get to a computer and make some sort of submission. Winning anything would be awesome!

I contacted JJGames about this, and if you have a P.O. Box in the USA (or access to one) you can enter the contest, and still live in Canada.

  • ^ I have an addy available to me. If any Canadians win CONTACT ME. I'll have it sent to my contact, they'll send it to me. Then I'll keep it. haha. JK. Do contact me if you need an address in the US. My family can send it to me and I'll send to you or something.
  • For real, there has to be at least one person living in America you trust enough to claim the prize for you. Assuming that's allowed the same way a PO box is.
  • So I got a free entry from the earlier thing, do I need to do anything else, or just hope for the best?
  • ^ I think you can get as many entries as you want and then increase your odds.
  • JJGames, just curious, where do you get all the games that stock your online store? Also, are people actually paying $13 for n64 memory cards? If you have 100,000 orders you must be doing pretty well. image

I think you can only enter up to 5 times.
  • How do you know if your blog entry was submitted correctly? I'm not positive mine was but I don't want to be disqualified for resubmitting.

I'd like to know this too... Is there going to be some kind of an email confirmation with the Blog and Video entries?
  • Was my free entry counted as one? Or can I still get 5 more?

Every submitted entry will get an email reply saying your blog was received and is a valid entry OR you will get an email saying it was not a valid entry.  We have to send these manually because we check each submission to make sure it is valid so it might take a little while to receive the email response.

Lots of people are writing their blog post right into the submission form.  That is not a valid entry.  You need to post the blog or video somewhere else then give us a link to where you posted it.
