Is this Turtles in Time factory sealed?

I got this Turtles in Time last week but cannot tell if it is factory sealed. After speaking with Rarebucky, he said it should have the seam down the back but thought I would post on here as well since he has not seen the pics yet either. I don't recall is every game on the back says this but on the bottom in bold letters, it says "For sale and use in the USA, Canada, and Mexico." Any info is appreciated.

  • Is that game Made in Mexico? If it's Made in Japan, then I'm pretty sure that it's a reseal. Japan made games should have the vertical seam.
  • It says made in Japan. I got it with some other sealed games that are 100% new. I cannot figure out why some resealed games would get mixed in though.
  • The mortal kombat has a seam on the back but the turtles nor the magic boy have them.
  • Looks like a reseal to me.
  • Almost positive that's a reseal.

made in mexico has the vert seam just like made in japan.

a perimeter seam might be legit if it was assembled in mexico

  • so yeah definite reseal
  • You can see a crease on the side from where the box was opened, so, yes, it is a reseal.
  • I say open it and find out!!
  • hmmm...everything was sold to me as factory sealed but turns out about 3 of them aren't. I can still make some money reselling but should I piss and moan at the seller?

yeah sorry I meant assembled in mexico.  Are there games that actually say made in mexico.  I wasn't aware of that.

  • It does not say anything about where it was assembled. I know it must have been resealed a long time ago because the seam on the sides look kind of dingy. I sent them a message. We will see what happens.
  • lol.. you actually considered this to be a factory seal? The factory machine must have been wobbly on this one =)
