A magazine(official, club nintendo) from 2006 posted how many scn games were sold in Sweden:





1. Super Mario Bros. 3 (215 000)


2. Super Mario Bros. 2 (120 000)


3. Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles (85 000)


4. Super Mario Bros. (70 000)


5. Duck Tales (70 000)


6. Chip & Dale: Rescue Rangers (65 000)


7. Track & Field II (60 000)


8. The Legend of Zelda (60 000)


9. Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (55 000)


10. Blades of Steel (45 000)


..of 210 games released

You can not multiply these numbers four (one for each scandinavian country and finland), because im pretty sure Sweden out-sold pretty much everyone - by miles.

See how scarce our carts are? The numbers from 1 to 10 is significantly less, makes you wonder how many of the least selling title sold.

    Did the NES sold as good in Norway, Denmark and Finland as it did in Sweden? I though since Bergsala was located in Sweden this was also the biggest market by far. I would like to see some figures of it.

    Great find. I was secretly hoping Mr Gimmick would be on there, unbalancing its price tag a little. Wishful thinking, I know!
