I don't think any boxes have sold since Nick Morgan bought the complete copy. As for manuals, MRN acquired his (from Seth, I think), and for a while NES_king was thinking of selling his, but I'm not sure it ever happened.
I have only seen 2 boxes change hands (publicly anyways) since I have been collecting. The sealed one you bought Bronty, and the one Nick fucked Ant on. I picked up the last open auctin manual for it on ebay, and then nesking got his right after I picked up mine iirc.
last 3 boxes I know of are, Bronty's sealed one, braveheart's side deal, and Nick's. I think DreamTR got his box somewhere between bronty's and braveheart's, but I can't recall exactly when.
hey i don't know much about SE. why is it so hard to find/ rare?
basically bandaii came out with it, nintendo almost immediately decided they wanted to put it out under their own name so they bought the title and renamed it world class track meet. So due to the name / company change very few of the original exist. I think there's a wiki article on it too if you want to look it up.
where in the earth did you get a sealed SE(and myriad etc.)? i've been wondering since i seen the rare ntsc owners thread, now i have a good opportunity to ask!that def must be worth more than a gold NWC?
Well, I have the high offer on a SE box...and they all turned me down. Someone will go broke sooner or later, or grandma will find one in her attic some day.
The same thing could be said about a CIB myriad (kinda anyway), and I almost ended up with 4 of them. Patience and lots of cash!

i agree with MRN. Anything is for sale if you give it enough time and have a large stack of money. I have the time, just need that stack of money.
Most of the people who own these now, I don't see letting go of them for quite some time. It's kinda priceless if you think about it. Sure, one day somebody will think, I don't need this anymore. But right now, the people who have them have full CIB sets, and if they sell that box, they'll never have a CIB set again. The price of the box, is kinda the price of a CIB set in a round about way.

both of those I happened to get on ebay but in general I just always bought from whatever source I could if that was ebay or other collectors or whatever.
as to value, well I would have to sell it for us to find out the answer to your question. In my opinion its more special than a gold nwc but your mileage may vary.

^Not only that, but since it predates the Nintendo brand Power Pad, you had to have bought the expensive big-box FFF Athletic World just to be able to get the mat to play Stadium Events...am I correct? Or were the FFF mats themselves sold separately?

I guess that really wasn't very helpful

There is a SE box in my pants if anyone wants to buy it!
That's crazy. I didn't know they made small box SEs.
buuuuurrrrnnnnn
In that case, you might want to specify whether it's in the front or back of your pants. . .

not too many of these out there... that sure sucks balls for people who are trying to collect a CIB collection.
It is the single reason why I gave up a CIB collection
I hope they find a lot of them in a warehouse somewhere. With the rarity now, no casual collectors have a chance.
can't a "casual collector" just buy world class track meet? Just sayin'...
