Buncha sealed Virtual Boy games...

No clue on these and eBay sales data is really spotty. I'll be reselling these shortly but I don't really know where to begin from. One guy has a lot of them up at about $50 a pop or more. I don't even know what's rare, if any of them (probably not since they were obviously clearanced bargain-bin!)

So you don't have to click each one:

2x Mario Clash
Wario Land
Red Alarm
2x 3D Tetris (one opened, never used)
Nester's Funky Armpits
Teleroboxer
Galactic Pinball
Golf
Vertical Smile
Panic Bomber

  • Did you snag these for $12.99? I remember when my KB shut down....rather than buy a bunch of stuff myself, I called my friend who has the game store and let him in on it. By far THE dumbest move I've ever made.

It's not rare, but I know some people who will pay a lot for it!

  • Gotta agree....I see vertical smile all the time, but you find the right person and you can get a pretty penny for it. Is in mint or does it have a bunch of crap on it?
  • these are simply beautiful...I <3 VB so much, you have any interest in selling me the Nester's? I'll give you my cart only copy!
  • I wouldn't mind picking up a few of these VB games. Sealed or CIB, doesn't matter. Keep me posted, please!
  • Don't know about exact prices, but I know that a sealed copy of Nester's Funky Bowling would probably be worth a fair bit. I think CIB copies go for at least $50... but then again, I haven't been in the Virtual Boy market in years.

I would have to assume that Mario Clash and Wario Land sealed would be worth a good amount too.
  • idk about this rare variant version

    Nester's Funky Armpits

    edit to add

I think every VB game in the USA went to the bargain bin. That system did so bad!

I remember my dad saying that Consumer Reports rated that system as the biggest ripoff of the Christmas season, the year it was released (it was something like $140 for the system, at the time)

I distinctly remember that within the year you could buy the system for $13 in the bargain bin at ToysRUs.
  • Either way, those are some nice finds and would look good in anybody's collection. Great find and thanks for sharing...
  • Holy crap! I woke up and my inbox is full. Thanks guys for the help - Scott and Will!
  • I want to get a full cib set so bad. I only have a handfull loose from a thrif store for 1.50 each.
  • Damn man, you just had to post this a week after I got my Virtual Boy. I've been so crazy about Virtual Boy stuff lately. So far I only have a sealed VL Baseball,a CIB Red Alarm (my favorite VB so far), and 3 loose games: Mario's Tennis(x2), Water World, and Wario Land. Total money spent on all my VB stuff so far: 25 bucks. Funny thing is, I spent more money on rechargable batteries than I did on the actual Virtual Boy itself!

Good thing about your VB collection is you already have the 2nd hardest one to get out of the way with Waterworld. That runs over $25 I believe.
  • I love the sheer fact that Waterworld exists. A game nobody wants to play, about a movie nobody wanted to see, for the console...well you get the idea.

    lol ain't that the truth

I should pick one up for its utter suckiness!
  • I got vertical smile the other day, good times image
  • I enjoyed watching Waterworld. Although it was much longer than it should have been.
  • That movie played like its own Extended Second Unit Director's Cut: Pish Drinker's Edition.
  • Yeah, and how realistic is floating plants in the middle of the ocean.
  • Red Alarm is the epitome of AWESOME. 'nuff said.

When I first popped it in the VB, my jaw was dropped the whole time playing, it just blew me away! Ofcourse, I had a terrible headache afterwards. God damn virtual boy! I love it but I hate it! haha
