I'm a bad, bad person...

So, I've never opened a sealed game before. Even as a kid, I just got my games from pawn shops and such. That changed today. I opened my sealed copy of NWC repro from Retrozone. May not be an original sealed game or anything, but still made me feel dirty on the inside image

  • personally, I don't open sealed games myself... if I want to play a game then i'll buy a used copy of it.
  • A used NWC repro probably dosen't come up that often though.
  • I don't cringe when I hear of someone opening up a sealed NWC reproduction because it's a repro that has been shrink wrapped and besides, sealed copies are still easily accessible. I'm talking more about original factory sealed games.
  • Opening sealed games is insanely fun! Everyone should try it at least once.
  • I don't buy sealed NES games because I like to be able to play the games I buy. If I had a sealed game though, I probably wouldn't open it.
  • i opened just about every game i ran across that was sealed
  • I do it all the time,, look at my youtube channel, i love to do it lol

  • It's fun to open up sealed games.
  • I too opened my first sealed game recently. It was the spy vs spy 2 release. But, I came to terms because it wasn't a factory sealed shrink wrapped game. image
  • Yes, opening a sealed NES game is very fun. Everyone should do it at least once. When was the last time you saw a virgin game? They are so sexy!!! And they smell nice too!
  • ::spanks you::
  • I've opened:

    Mega Man

    Mega Man 2

    Marble Madness

    Snake Rattle n Roll

    Snoopy's Silly Sports Spectacular

    TMNT 2

    Bases Loaded 2

...when I was a kid. image
  • I'm going to have to agree with a lot of people here. Opening games is fun. The only sealed game that I've owned that is still sealed is my copy of Lolo. I usually don't spend much money on sealed games, so when I went a bit overboard on that one, I felt that I shouldn't open it...
  • Bahh its a repro.

You still haven't opened any factory sealed games.
  • There is nothing better than the smell of a real factory sealed game, it smells so good image mmmmmmmmmmm

NWC doesn't count though, that is just a repro and not a legit seal.

    ~~NGD
  • I opened a Tengen Tetris, who wants to touch me.
  • I don't know if that even counts, but as many others have said...opening sealed games = good
  • I opend a sealed stadium events the other day. Its a great game. -_-

Ehh.  I've done it; its pretty fun.    I've also given my nieces factory sealed snes games (for some reason they like snes more than new consoles) for them to rip apart on xmas/birthdays.

what we are all thinking image
  • Yeah, legit factory sealed games do have an interesting smell when you open them. It's like a new car smell!
  • I opened a factory sealed Jackal for NES a year or so ago.

I took the cart our and threw the box and manual into the garbage

  • he has a lot of loose carts I'm guessing it wouldn't make much sense to have like 800 loose and one complete.

probably for your nes loose cart shelf hey curtis?
