sega power base converter

I'm thinking about buying one of these but I want to know whether or not it needs a power adaptor of it's own to work.

    I dont think it does but it doesn require a model 1 Genesis. ie the system that has the volume slider on it.

    it doesnt need a power adapter but it does need a model 1 genny. i would just buy a master system instead as it'll probably be the same price and master system comes with a built in game

    You can use it with a Sega CDX too.

    No Power Supply, If you want to use it for any sega system other than a genesis 1 you need to "modify" it by breaking off some plastic!



    I would definitely recommend getting one so you have one less system to hook up! Thats what i do

    The power base fits snug on my CDX without any modification. It's a tight fit, but you can just barely get it on over the power supply cord in back.
