Paid and still waiting? Broken or poor quality?

Here's a place to list all the auctions you've won that have left you regreting the over priced buy it now , broken or terrible condition games/ systems, or perhaps you paid and never recieved the merchandise. Whatever the case, list your auctions gone wrong.

yes this is similar to the hall of shame post made earlier, however this is solely reguarding ebay robberies image (it doesnt have to be NES)

I personally perchased a $80 PC Doom ID Anthology and waited a month and a half, only to realize that either my package was accidentally shipped to Antarctica or that the seller had refused to ship murchandise that was paid for via pay pay a few minnutes after the auction. To make matters worse, I couldn't get a hold of the seller after countless emails and 4 weeks of trying, until I finally recived a bs excuse. ( thus disproving my theory that penguins were testing out Doom 95 in Antarctica lol image) Luckily, i was able to file a claim with pay pal to get back my $80  3 months later.

  • I bought a sealed copy of Pinball for the Virtual boy...it cost me .99 with 8$ shipping. The asshat sent it to me in a plain manilla envelope and it was completely crushed. E-mailed the seller with no response...so I was basically stuck with it. Great that they paid under 2$ for 8$ shipping though.
  • just got a sealed nba jam 2000 for n64 arrived in a bubble mailer nice and smashed
  • I bought a Bart vs. the World game from eBay, the seller said that it had a few drops of nail polish on it that he would try to get off before sending. It arrived on my door and when I opened it I couldn't even tell what the game was. The entire label was hidden by a huge blob of purple nail polish.

I also got a Mechanized Attack in a lot once that had a broken case. Somehow the game still works though.
  • Yep people who send boxed or CIB games in jiffy bags (bubble mailers in the US) are not worth ever trading with again.

Imagine you had spent something like $1000 for a SD Gundam or Virtual Bowling for the VB and it was crushed because they hadn't shipped it in a box, I'd be wanting every last penny back because you don't buy these games to play, you buy them to finish your collections off.
  • I paid for a BIN TMNT Tournament Fighters almost 3 weeks ago from a seller with 3000+ postive feedback and not a negative in the past year.I have not heard from him since paying and I just opend a paypal claim aginst him.Has anyone had any experiance with (consolegames.org)? I dont understand why he would try and rip me off for $75,with 3000 feedback and all?
  • I got a Ten Yard Fight in a lot that had a Dragon Warrior II inside. Oh wait...
  • I got my 200 dollar CIB Menace Beach shipped to me from Canada in a padded envelope. Guess what.........crushed! image

  • That is strange, I have recieved numerous CIB or sealed games sent in bubble wrapped envelopes and never has one game been crushed. Also I have sent quite a few CIB games in bubble mailers, and I still have 100% feedback, at least nobody has ever told me the box was crushed. Usually though, I get the priority mail boxes that are about the size of CIB games and wrap em up in an old grocery bag. I guess that makes me bad ass because misuse of government property is a felony. Aww snap.
  • I've been waiting 6 months for my CIB Panic Restaurant from that scumbag magoo that also ripped off Martin on NESWorlds.
  • I bought a sealed zelda OOT original release for the N64 recently. Seller shipped it in a cardboard mailer with NO protection at all. Needless to say, it arrived CRUSHED.
  • WOW, I almost forgot, how could I forget the dumbshit that sent me a NES CIB in, oh what was it.......oh yeah nothing. Idiot just slapped some postage and address stickers on the box. Bought mint, arrived one big piece of shit!

In the past month I've had this happen 3 or 4 times.  I bought a CIB Zapper, and the idiot taped the shit out of the box, put a label on it, and mailed it.  I won that one for like 6 bucks.  The suprising thing is, when I complained to the guy about it, he actually went and BIN'ed a CIB Zapper for $34.99, and sent it to me.  He turned out to be a real nice guy.  I've also bought a few CIB systems, and had them shipped in just the actual sysetm box.  That kinda shit makes me SOOO MAD!!!
  • I had this same thing happen recently. A guy taped up an Action Set, put postage on it, then shipped it directly. I complained, simply because I *asked* him before the auction ended if he'd double box it, and he said yes. Well, I got the set for next to nothing anyway, but he forgot to include the games with it. He ended up giving me a full refund and told me to keep it image
  • I bought a cheap Action 52 but when I got it , it had a crack at the back. Thx to the new ebay system I didn't have to give him a negative (and risk a negative back) but I just gave him a zero on his item description.

Apparently, he sent people a bunch of free crap (chocolate NES stuff) to build up his name, and then ripped people off. With NESboy in too, he has ripped off 4 people... all at the same time (February/March). He's scum
  • Im not joking, I seriously considered that he could have died considering his packages reeked of smoke
  • I traded with magoo plenty of times with no problems. Sorry to hear about you guys having problems with him.
  • mediaglobal is my friend now

  • Just so everybody knows, Magoo has recently contacted me and re-funded my money. I put him in contact with the other people who were out some money too. I just thought I'd let everybody know because I saw him post here, and I wanted people to know that he's cool in my books.
  • I saw him post today, I was wondering about it. Glad it worked out for you. I hope he squares up with everyone else as well.

  • Bought a lot of 8 games, one "never opened". It had part of the cello on it but it was used and abused, and missing all paper work. Good thing it was a crap game and not the reason for buying the lot.

Also, just bought "Very clean" Metal Gear for $.01 that looked like a truck ran it over after a horse pinched a loaf on it.

Update: days after not getting responses to the crappy metal gear, I posted neg feedback. Only hours later, she gives me neg feedback. Says she checked her messages and ebay must not have delivered them (yeah right) She then requested a feedback withdrawl and refunds my money, I agreed. Hopefully she'll quit selling pieces of crap and calling them very nice.
