NES manuals light enough to ship in an envelope with 1 stamp?

Hi, was curious about this since I'm selling some NES manuals on ebay.  I dont have a scale,  need to get one,  Was wondering about this, I guess it depends how thick the NEs manual is eh?

  • Really depends. Top Gun will probably fly. SMB3 is too heavy.

You'd need the larger greeting card envelopes, too, I think.

Also, you've got to consider that customers looking to CIB a game are probably looking to keep it in good shape, and all mail now goes through machines at a bunch of steps along the journey.
  • Definately depends on the thickness. I had success with a Contra manual but you know that has like 5 pages.
  • I guess I really should get a scale. image
  • Me personally. No way would I want a manual shipped to me in an envelope. This is reason I don't buy/trade anything w/anybody of any site before asking how they ship. This stuff blows my mind.

I'm sorry man but my opinion you need to protect collectable items in mail or don't bother selling them at all. That manual will no way leave your house and enter mine in same condition shipped in an envelope.

Having boxed nes games and collectible dvd sets w/collectible cardboard sleeves sent to me in bubblle mailers and being damaged has made real anal on how my items are shipped. This is also a sore spot w/me when people ask questions like this.
  • I sent some manual in an enveloppe, between two rigid cartboard, in the regular mail. You just need to pay a more expensive stamp. That said, I don't think I would send a $30 manual that way.
  • I sent a snow brothers in a larger envelope. I wrapped it in a couple of pieces of a cover from a phone book. Good sturdy cardboard paper. Just took a regular stamp and from what I saw from Penguin, it got their just fine, looks the same as when I had it.
