SNES community?

Hey people!

This website is really great for NES community and has superb boards full of nice and kind oldskool retrogamers image

But I was wondering, can you give me some links to other retro websites but that their main focus is on Super Nintendo rather then on NES? I was Googleing but didn't find anything interesting?

So, all in all I just want to know if there is any website for SNES crowd as Nintendoage, PlayTheNES and etc. are for NES crowd? I know that I can freely talk about SNES system and SNES games here but I would really like  to know if there is dedicated SNES community out there on world wide web image

P.S. I am also interested in general retro websites like retrotv, thatguywithglasses, retrojunk, hardcoregaming 101 but of course - with focus on NES and SNES so be free to post that kind of links as well image

    Well, you can check out my website, SNES Central (http://www.snescentral.com/). The message board isn't all that active, but if some people sign up, that could change! I've been working on the website for nearly nine years, though I would have to say that this year has been the most active I have ever been on it.

    Start making it more active here! There are many people who collect SNES, just needs a small push to get some topics going.

    I'll admit, I don't know what more I can do besides the news posts I make. There are over three pages of topics there, only a few have actual replies.



    BTW, I accept story submissions. If there is anything interesting, make a thread and I will move it to the front page of the site!



    Also, I won't say anything more, but keep your eye on next month's Nintendo Age zine!

    my main focus is snes as well. Just post more stuff here and what not. there are plenty of snes people on here that i talk to.

    There are tons of SNES guys here. For me NES = SNES. Join badinsults site, or make topics here. SNES collecting is strong right now.

    A lot of us focus on NES a lot, but prefer SNES games because they are simply better. Collecting wise, you won't find as many SNES collectors, but you can definitely discuss tons of stuff SNES related. I for one collect both SNES and NES equally (and N64).

    I know that, I'm just asking if there are any stable community out there on Internet that is dedicated mostly to SNES system and games for it.

    I'm aware of this but as I said, I would like to know if there were any sites of that sort... it seems not.

    There is a popular SNES focused message board, unfortunately it is in German. In general, the most active SNES message boards are emulation sites (the SNES is by far the console most used in emulation).



    That said, I am trying to make up a snes label variants list, but it is pretty slow going, as I am just one person, and I tend to work on other things as well that are of pure academic interest (the bibliography, prototypes, unreleased games, PCB boards). Collecting is something that is secondary for me, as I never had the money to seriously collect.

    i look at nintendo age as all nintendo nes, snes, 64, gameboy, etc.. just like atariage covers the 2600. 5200. 7800, lynx, jag

    i agree i always felt that nintendo age referred the the age when nintendo was for hte most part king of the hill and to me that covers nes snes and in my opinion n64 6th and 7th gen unfortunately mostly belong to scummy and notsosoft
