Help identifying composers/sound credits

Hey everybody. As some of you already know, I've got a NES BGM radio station running...

http://gamepak.net/cgi/nesguide.cgi

I'm in the process of trying to assign sound credits for everything, and am having trouble finding out some of this information.

I've been searching around the net, but it's hard to find some of them. I'm starting to think that for some of these, I may just have to beat the games and see what the credits say... but I figured it was worth a shot to ask the community here first.

If anyone can help me out with "composer" or "sound" credits on any of the following games, I'll love you forever! I'm also interested in any sites that might list this information for future games I will be adding to the mix.

  • This outta help you fill in some blanks:

  • Thanks for the suggestion, Andy. Mobygames is where I got a lot of the info I did find. I also found a lot of credits on Zohpar's NSF page. I'm going to give this list another run-through soon, so hopefully I can narrow it down. I'll keep this list updated on what I'm missing for anyone who might run across it here. Meanwhile, if anyone knows even ONE of these credits I would really appreciate any help I can get with these. Thanks again for checking out the thread, guys. I know the list is kind of long right now. I'm pretty determined to find these out somehow eventually, though... and once I do I will publish the information all in one place somewhere for future global reference.
  • Did you actually figure out or find somewhere who did Friday the 13th?
  • Nah, I just haven't captured any music from it yet. This list is just what I'm missing out of the 260 or so games I've managed to capture thus far.
I had hoped to be further along by now, as I intend to capture at least one sound from every game. Unfortunately, the Pinnacle box I was using suddenly crapped out on my Vista machine. I guess I'll have to move it to my trusty XP machine. Hopefully that will set it straight again.

Now that you mention Friday the 13th, though... I'll put it next on my to-do list!
  • Yeah, I saw a few of the games on your list that had the composer credits on mobygames like Snow Bros., kabuki quantum fighter, Sword Master
  • This site may be helpful for games that show composer credits at the end:

  • Excellent. Thanks a lot, Andy! I'll go through these endings tonight and see what I can find!
