Might & Magic: Secret of the Inner Sanctum

How much does a CIB go for?

Comments

  • loved this game back in the day !
  • I just got the pics and it's not completely sealed. The top of the game has been opened to verify that it is complete. Other than that it still has the wrapping and it's in great shape.
  • Dang shame its been opened. Cant really help with the value on this one though.
  • I'd say $50-$60.
  • ^ Sounds about right for me, if it is truly a MINT CIB still in the cello then you could probably get more.
  • Wow, I'm surprised the box and manual are worth so little relative to the cart-only value on this one.

Normally a game this expensive is higher on the rarity scale.

Unlike some games which are valuable for the rarity many buy to play play this one. So you have people buying the game to play. Those same people aren't paying a huge premium for the box etc. Without the internet and GameFAqs the paperwork would be worth more I'm sure.

  • That's a valid point. It really is the definitive dungeon crawl on the NES...head-and-shoulders above the ports of Wizardry, or Swords and Serpents.
  • is this the game that has "Cannon In D" as the opening song ?

Yeah, great stuff. Also, Gyruss has some classical music too (Toccata and Fugue)

I noticed that Shockwave opens with Bach's 2 part invention #4.  Nice to know I'm not the only person to get excited over this stuff image

I'm surprised it goes for so little sealed, this thing is an absolute pain in the ass to hunt down.  If I saw a BIN of $80 for a mint sealed copy on EBay, I think I'd hit it without even thinking twice.
  • ^ Our price estimates were for the CIB version, not sealed? Sealed is probably $100+ I would imagine.

My bad, I didn't realize he edited the original tread title.  My mistake.
