which screw variants are actually worth money?

i just bought a ridiculously huge lot of nes games (1200) and there are a ton of 3 and 5 screw variants in it. i read the article about variants in one of the zines, but it says nothing about values, so is there even a big difference? i literally care zero percent about variants so i would lose no sleep over selling them, but i want to know if its even worth the effort?

  • There's already a lot of thread on the subject, but mainly :

    Donkey Kong - 3 screws

Donkey Kong Jr. - 3 screws

Donkey Kong Jr. Math - 3 screws

    Gyromite - 3 screws

    Star Force - 5 screws

    Megaman - 5 screws

    I probably forgot some too.
  • Anything R7 or greater relative rarity will show an increase in price, but only the R8-10s are really significant.
  • Jaws 5 screw?
  • Mike Tyson's Punch Out!! 5-Screw, also.
  • Jaws is max $50 and I don't think there's actually even been a solid sale at that price, people are just snagging them at auction as they come up. It's likely only R7 or so.

MTPO is still "unconfirmed" as more info popped up, it seems the one that we featured in the Zine was likely an anomaly and not part of a legit 5-screw release that may have produced "brothers" to collect.
  • Yeah, but MTPO sure looks good on my shelf!

I'd be interested in jaws and others if anyone's got any!
