Super Nintendo Development Box
I almost had the opportunity to snag a snes dev. box from a guy who worked for capcom in the early 90's, but the guy was hung up on a nondisclosure agreement that he had signed with nintendo to get it...If I can talk him into selling it, what kind of value does this box have?
It is just a white rectangular box that hooks into a monitor...

I can't put an actual price on it, but i'm sure it would generate a good deal of interest. I personally would be interested in such an item (as I'm sure many here would be).
If you manage to wrangle it from him be sure to post some pictures in our protoculture section!
It's ALWAYS a good idea to ask people like this if they own any prototype media. Being that the guy worked for Capcom and had at least something to do with development, I would say there's a decent chance he has something of that nature as well.
It was part of a CL deal in which I picked up his PS2 + Linux/Dev Kit (which I got a healthy amount for), but the only promo stuff he was willing to give up was some promo EA sports games (he has worked for EA here in Orlando since leaving capcom.) Unfortunately he was not willing to part with his mega man x, x2, x3 test cartridges
He did have one other thing of interest...He had a White Original XBOX. It is one of only 100 made exclusively for EA employees...I know there is a disdain for XBOX on this site, but anyone have any idea what that might bring at auction? He said he would be willing to sell it, but he wasn't going to "give it away" for too cheap.
I'd say don't worry too much about the newer stuff, go back, marry the guys daughter, and get those SNES protos!
Yeah, I say go for it. Anyways, I say it's worth a shot to just ask him about information on the Mega Man protos, even if he won't sell 'em.
