A guy messaged me on craigslist and has this. Site unseen, what would you give if you were going to flip? Boxes are supposed in good shape but most of them have scotch tape on the bottom. Not sure if it would come off or not but sounds like they may have come from the store where I got that huge lot or games. Here is the e-mail.

I have an original NES console, just the console, no controllers or cords.
 
 I have the original box that the entertainment system deluxe set came in(no controllers, cords, manuals, components... just the box..

    Ok, I'll make it a little easier....he has someone who has offered $170. Is it worth that even to flip? I don't know a ton about CIB games the castlevania fluctuates so much.

    i wouldn't really be too interested. i was thinking around $140 for a low offer to flip. obviously, condition matters a lot on the boxes, especially the dk and rygar. if they are all taped on the bottom like the lot i went through, it's gonna leave some pretty noticeable damage. i'd pass on this lot.

    Thats what I was thinking. I offered him $150 but he said someone else offered $170. I'm thinking he was trying to get another 25 out of me. We will see.

    Even at $150 you'd be pushing it to flip. Had you previously seen the games/boxes/manuals themselves, it would be a different story (if they are rentals, you know the manuals are probably beat to shit and the games themselves have marker/carving/etc).

    Nah, I haven't seen them but I definitely don't mind being a douche and dropping my offer if they look like piss. That or not buy them at all. If they came from the store I bought out, then they very well could look bad. The scotch tape deal has me thinking this but maybe other people did this to keep the box closed. If they were nice, I could make the money back off of DK, Slalom, and Castlevania alone...just not sure on the condition yet.
