Nintendo 64 Gang Writer + 40 Winks N64 Promo Box

Hi Guys,

I have a boxed Nintendo 64 Gang Writer. It looks new and comes with power cord and main unit. The box is the original that it came in, it has japanese writing on it and also "Intelligent Systems".

Also a Display Only N64 Box "40 Winks".

I got them soooo long ago I can't remember what I paid and have no idea what it would be worth now.

Will move the Gang Writer to the FS forum if it's worth my while. The Promo box of 40 winks is just for curiosity.

A gang writer just ended on eBay not long ago, and went unsold for $250.

I was actually surprised that it didn't sell at that price, as it's an item you don't often see. With that being said, I've never even heard of someone owning one with the original box, so I'm sure that would boost the price a bit.

That ebay link is for the gamecube, not for n64.

Hmm that gang writer on ebay for the Gamecube. No idea if that's a fair indication of these things or not?

The original box is nothing special. It's mainly the shipping box direct from the company. But it has custom cut out foam and markings etc.

Also it does not include the software or cables, so it's an useless device in that form.

I would pay $250 for that npdp version if it was complete.

No idea on the legality but the Software is pretty easy to find. The cables etc are a different story, I have no idea about them but could find out.

Edit:  Old sale, but that was the best I could do for a CIB one.  These go unsold at $300ish loose as far as I can remember, can't say that I've seen a boxed one for sale in a while.
