HELP needed
hi everyone,
got a world of nintendo fiber optics sign and its good for the most part. but a couple of the optic ends broke off i guess during shipping and dont work. The problem is that the ends are stuck in the hole and i cant get them out due to the box on the inside of the sign blocking me from getting to the optic ends in the hole.
looks like the power box is rivited to the bottom so i dont know what to do. there are many replacements inside i can just plug into the hole to get all the holes lit up again. if someone can direct me as to what i can do PLEASE mail me back. its driving me crazy as hell!!!!!!
for better idea as to what sign it is its this exact one:
hopefully someone else can shed some light on this. (no pun intended)

Well I took a look at mine. It has a 6" X 8" access panel on the top. I noticed that there was one fiber out on the 'e' and there is no way I could connect a new fiber using just that little panel. I could easily reach where it fits into the hole, but I would never be able to connect it to the light assembly. I'm thinking that the panel is just there to make replacing some other component much easier.
The only way I could see doing it is to completely disassemble the outer box.
Looking inside there was nothing that would obstruct me from connecting fibers, I could lay my hands on anything inside, I just couldn't see where the fiber fit into the light assembly from a top-down angle.
it unscrews from the back and the whole area is open to do what you want. all the optic wires are plugged into small drilled holes and in there good!
there are holes when i unscrew the back that i could get the fibers into but those damn broken optic wires are in there good! if i could just get them out!! im not gonna give up just yet. thanks for your input man!
