Super NIntendo system freezing

I find that sometimes the super nintendo system freezing sometimes.  I'm wondering what causes the system to freeze.

    I'm guessing dirt. Do you have problems getting games to start, or see glitchy screens from time to time?



    Also is it the same place, same game every time or is it random?
