Super Nintendo 10 Volt Connection
Hi,
So, I'm pretty new around here. I just bought two Super Nintendos for $10 at the local flea market. Only problem is the back of the console--where the 10 volt adapter would go to has two tiny pins instead of a "hole" for my 10 volt adapter to go inside. Thus, the 10 volt "male end" wiggles around in there and if a stiff breeze blows by, you lose the connection.
Any advice on how to get a more consistent connection of your power source to the back of a standard North American SNES?
Thanks for any help you can provide,
Kris

If you have the skills, you can always open it up and solder the connection. Either put a new plug on both sides, or just hardwire it.
Do you have any pics of this? It sounds odd by the way you describe it.
Let me know what you find, I used to encounter this alot when I bought and resold SNES systems.
