Inbox issue

So, I just logged on and it's telling me I have "new messages."  When I click on my inbox however, it brings me to PMs from March of last year.  When I click on older or newer PMs, it just sends me back to the PMs I received in March.  Is there a reason for this error?  I have no idea who sent me a PM at the moment as a result.

Any help would be appreciated.
