what should I expect to pay for every nfr n64 cart?

Im looking into buying  one of every single not for resale n64 cart. Does anybody know what any of them are worth, are their any really rare ones that I should be looking out for (besides yoshis story international)

  • Gray Zelda majoras mask will command a lot, and MRN has a HUGE bounty on it. Also the Zelda OOT is pretty expensive along with Goldneye and some other worth 50-80ish. Only a few like the pokemon games are worth 15-30. I'd say to get them all, you need to pay at least 700, that is, if you find them f/s.

Actually, now that I think of it with the gray MM, probably more around 8-900

I think 700 would probably be on the low side.  You've got DK64 gray, Goldeneye, and Turok which are all in the 50-75 range.  Yoshi Story Int'l is $100ish, Zelda OoT is definitely $100+ if it's in nice condition,   Zelda MM Gray will be at least $250.  Then theres the other 20 or so demos that will run you an average of $20-$30 each.  I'd say full set would probably cost closer to $1000 if not more.

  • ^ I've been actively collecting n64 nfr's as some of you know, and I've come to realize they are spiking in price because of the recent interest in nfr collecting (I also think because of NA).

The zelda's will be your most expensive carts if they are in gray form. Before I decided collecting NFR's, I sold the Majoras Mask grey for $215. Afterwards, I realized MRN had a better offer on it, but it was already sold.

It will cost you closer to $1000 for a full set from what I have experienced, IMO

Heh, very weird: I typed that on my phone and I thought I successfully edited it. In my edit I said that it was probably closer to 900-1000 including the gray MM.

Well shit, if DK64 gray and GE are only $75 then I'll take em both image  GL grabbing those for under $100 unless you find a poorly listed auction.  Also, GE is stupid rare, GL finding it.

  • Yea. If you find a goldeneye for under a couple hundred, I'd be suprised. I'd be really suprised if you found one at all. I paid like 850 for a complete set minus the goldeneye and MM about a year ago...and I thought that was a good deal.

But, yes, as much as I don't appreciate Deniz publically posting what I'm after, AGAIN!, if you have a gray MM NFR for sale, you should probably let me know....
  • There's a Turok demo cart? .... you mean the Turok 2 one right?

I meant that the DK Gray is an exception, definitely did NOT mean that it was in the 50-80 range. I just picked up a Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, and Star Wars for 150 here on NA. Also, if you've been watching, the Zelda OOT's have not been going for as much as before. I recall one recently selling for less than 120ish (I did not mean to say that was in the 50-75 range).

I don't appreciate Swanson publically posting and FALSELY posting, that is, that I'm after some N64 boxes.

Anyways, 850 is good for the set minus those considering it was all of them, but I don't think you should be paying more than 900-950 for all of them minus those, especially since those are the biggest ones along with OOT.

  • next time I'm visiting my fathers MRN I'll see about getting that Grey MM NFR for you see if they budged at all on the price image
  • Oh don't worry, as long as I'm gonna still be needing it next time it comes up, Little Michael won't be getting his hands on it. Not as long as I'm around. And if so, then he'd better find another stash to fund for his vasectomy reversal.

Perfect Dark is another one of the expensive / hard-to-find NFR's that hardly ever pops up for sale.

There it is in bold from a NFR collector with a full set. However, noone can just say this is worth XXX dollars, it depends on the market.

I sold my gray majoras mask about 3-4 months ago for $215 as, that was the highest offer I had at the time. This was on NA. I had to sell it to pay for some school bills....I wouldnt mind having another again image

  • To be fair, I did say "at least". I won't name names but I had a much higher offer on the table at one point for mine.

Edit: And actually I don't have a complete N64 set yet image

    See!! Much higher offer! image

Also, I remember one from a couple years ago that went for $300+. But yeah, I totally agree that it depends on the market at a given time. However, I think MRN is badly looking for one right now, and we all know he pays insane amounts for things. So, I guess the range for a gray MM is around $200-400. image

    Quotes FTW!!!

Well, it can be pretty well assumed Pat's offer was from MRN. And, before he set the bounty, they were selling reasonably in the $250ish range.

I won one at open auction for $60 less than a year ago image

  • Yeah I think $250 is definitely on the low end of the spectrum, NFRs are a hot ticket item right now.
  • I know there is talk about the gray MM, but how much does a Gold usually go for?
