What is the cheapest way to ship a Deluxe Set box?

I want to sell off my Deluxe Set boxes, but I don't know what the most cost-effective way to price out shipping is.  They are ass-big, and if I just plop them in a bigger box and take it down to USPS, someone is going to be eating a lot of shipping fees when I think there might be a better way to go about it.  Shipping them broken down flat isn't an option if I sell them with their foam.  Anyone have any ideas?

  • Not sure if this will help you out, but I just shipped an action set box within a box from Wisco-> NY, and it cost me about $11.

Maybe this figure will help you form some sort of estimate.
  • Just slap the shipping labels on the box...  image
  • The foam actually makes the box pretty sturdy. If you wrap it in two layers of brown paper it should survive the journey well intact. Shit happens and sure there can be a puncture along the way, but just insure it and make that part of your shipping cost, it's not much for an item of that value.
  • buy a toaster/gun/robot and sell them complete for 350
  • I just picked up a box from a seller on ebay it only cost $12 shipping. So long as it doesn't go over the dimensional limits that make it a "large" package you should be fine
  • Wrap it in foam roll. Then wrap in cardboard, Make a box! Then insure. Thats small and lite yet still safe.
