sold an expensive item on ebay

A buyer bought an item of mine on ebay and paid asap but has 0 feeback.  I am going to do the normal thing and use insurance and delivery confirmation when I ship out the package.  Since I sold a more expensive item is there anything I should maybe be more cautious about?

  • as long as u have delivery confirmation you should be ok i would think.
  • usually, DC should keep you covered. I've never had any sour 0 feedbackers though, so I'm not sure of all the tricks they could play.
  • Just check if he pay's.

I had one sale that never paid, reported it to Ebay they banned him.
  • YES, and it's a good thing you asked.

If the item was over $250, you need signature confirmation too, otherwise you're out all your money.
  • Did you sell a rob the robot to my wife...?  I think she just made an ebay account to pay for an item I wanted without telling me,....

If she did just open an account she would have a 0 rating, but she would pay.....

So the buyer, if not my wife, may just be new for holiday shopping...

Get a DC though just to cover yerself!

Quoted for truth... This exact thing happened to me.
  • yeah, if it's expensive get signature confirmation. Proves it was signed for and received, and if they try and pull any shit, they'll have to ship it back the same way, or they can't prove they sent it back.
