SMB3 box Q

I was looking at my cart and I have the version with "Bros." on the left side, not the right.  I was looking into CIBs for this game as I was mainly just curious and it seems almost NONE of the boxes have the "Bros" on the left.  Is that version the rarer of the two?

I recall getting the game shortly after it was released back in the day.

    The one that's rarer is the one with the "Bros" on the left side. That's the first release. The more common one is the one with "Bros" towards the center/right, which is the -1 version. Also, if you look at the back of both boxes, the screen shots used should be different. In fact, one of the screen shots shows a slightly different version of the Level 1 overworld map.

    Very interesting!  I was looking a my boxed SMB3's and I have one of each.  Bros. looks much better centered, on the other it gets lost by mario's hand.
