Hello with a question
Hello everyone..I am new here so I will Introduce myself. My name is JWild and I recently purchased an NES along with The original Zelda, Super Mario/ 1,2,3 and Duckhunt games and MIckey Mousecapades. ANyway I am primarily interested in speedrunning Super Mario Bros series right now. My best Super Mario Bros 1 time is down to 5mins 15.2 secs with warps. I am also interested in playing on my computer (i.e. emulators) to hone my skills on certain levels. TO that effect I have recently purchased and received a retrolink USB NES controller...but I can't seem to get it to work on fceux, NEStopia, or rockNES. If anyone knows how to do this please advise...also I have it plugged into my USB and a message came up saying "new hardware successfully installed" on my windows XP. Finally the emulators seem to be working, but not recognizing the USB controller. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

AFAIK the USB _should_ work like a regular joystick...is the Retrozone FAQ any help?

If you rebooted your emulator it *should* work. Id assume you tried this, but who knows.
