I can't believe I read the whole thing...

I was directed here because of that whole CIB SE eBay auction thing. I then spent the next 2-3 hours of my life reading that thread and the other CIB SE one, and now all of my game "finds" seem miniscule in comparison. I mean, I still get excited when I see a complete copy of FFVII! How noobish you all must think me!

Anyway, I've been collecting games for a while now, and I can't believe it's taken me this long to find this place. Seems like a nice place to hang around. Cheers!

  • Welcome to the site! Wasting time spending hours reading posts happens to most of us.

  • We all had to learn form somewhere. Don't be ashamed. Even people here with the largest collections still learn from people with the smallest. Share what you know and be willing to learn what you don't. The last bit of advise here: Just because somebody might be young, doesn't mean they don't know what they are talking about.

  • Welcome Eric. That's one of the best aspects of the site -- the archive of all old posts is like a written record of the evolution of the hobby.
  • Hi from another new face! This place rocks. I would also get giddy around a nice FF VII set. Good game.

EDIT: Yeah, I'd get giddy around FF II and VII. image
  • hey FFVII is a GREAT game. I love finding those image

  • Welcome to NA Dude!
  • Welcome to NA!! Don't worry about being noobish. Everyone starts somewhere as Mason said. Hell when I started here less than a year ago I had no idea what I was doing. Sheesh I couldn't tell you the difference between a Stadium Events and World Class Track Meet image Wait...what IS the difference?
  • Awesome dude. Welcome image
  • Yeah, I'm in Shoreline which is riiiiiight next to Seattle. Also, I guess I should mention that my one major collecting goal is to get every US-released SNES game. I'm like... halfway there. Hehe.
  • Welcome to NintendoAge image hope you enjoy your time here
  • Eric, welcome to the site! A good find is a good find, and if it made you happy at that time, that's all that matters. We live for that feeling, no matter how small!
