  • Man, it sucks to be anyone that shops at your store, you get all the good stuff!

    Nice pickup!

That I do.  It pays big time to be on here learning about rare games all day.
  • Yeah, I about crapped my pants too, when I found mine at St Vincent De Paul for $5 with the manual. This is one of those rares games that is both hard to find, and a fantastic game.

Where do you work? Not Goodwill, just because I think there's some sort of policy against buying stuff before it goes on display. (or so I've heard from a guy who works at GW in the area... could differ from store to store, though)
  • Very nice. How much did she cost you?
  • $7 for this baby!
  • I always have a sneaking suspicion the punk teens working at the videogame stores are the reason they never have anything good.

    Damn whippersnappers!
  • Nice condition.

Ya, its a 9, or possibly even a 10 in condition.  Now I need to track down a box and manual to make this my rarest CIB to date.
  • ^ Good luck!
  • Nice find! However, if you really do want a complete copy, it would be better selling the cart only, and then just paying the added $$ for a CIB. Unless you are hoping to find a box and manual in the wild image
  • great game. Nice find
  • very nice, I wish I had a inside scoop like you have. image
  • I've past up this game several times for probably around the same price. Didnt know it was rare til like last year lol. Played it for the first time last nite too. Cool game.
  • Great find for a great game, congrats! image
  • awsome find, make me think of the time i found ninja gaiden 2 mint condition in the box at my old work. but your find is 10 times better than mine
  • I dunno, I bet that a truly mint CIB NG2 could go for just about as much as a loose Fire N Ice (which last time I checked was only like 30-ish). I'm always really happy when I find a boxed game in excellent condition, as it seems to be getting harder and harder to come across.
  • Good price. May I suggest you designate yourself a single continuous find thread? A lot of us have one that we recycle when something is postworthy. You can easily refer to it later without digging up multiple threads and it doesn't clutter up the board. No disrespect at all intended as it is only a suggestion. Do what you want, but most here will agree it is more efficient than making a thread everytime you find a game.

I could do that, but I prefer my latest find to be the very first post of the thread.  Do you have any other suggestions on how to accomplish that any way other than how Im doing it?  That remark sounds like a dick move response, but its a serious question, so let me know.

Neah, you're just a dick cause you buy all the good NES games at gamers image

  • No, not a dick response at all. If anything I was afraid you would take what I said as an insult. Well, I guess you could edit the original post, but the reason I said that was because you can chronical your progress by having the dates stamped on the photos you post when you get a new find. You could change the date in your title to reflect an update and make a new post with new photos. Some people get pretty sweet threads going showing their stuff off as they go. Just because it isn't in the first post doesn't mean people won't read it. I just think it makes for a good read over time is all and I was merely giving an opinion.
