new to the forum!

Hey everyone, just thought I'd take a minute to introduce myself.

Austin here... I actually found out about this forum via AtariAge. Much like most kids born in the early '80s, I grew up primarily first with the 8-Bit NES. I loved the 2600 as a youngster, but the NES got me addicted at a very young age. That led into the Game Boy, SNES, and eventually the Virtual Boy (which I still have a soft spot for). In the mid-nineties I started getting into other platforms as well (ahem, Sega), I eventually began collecting retro/classic stuff (2600, Colecovision, Intv., etc), and discovering less-common platforms (3DO, Jaguar, Neo-Geo, TG-16/PC Engine, the list goes on)--so needless to say, while the Nintendo stuff influenced me while I was young, I come from quite a wide gaming background and have respect for it all!

Anyways.. I work an overnight call center job so I frequent forums a lot--a couple of gaming forums (like this and AA) are the only gaming-related sites that aren't blocked by our content filters, so don't be surprised if you begin seeing a lot of me here...

haha, every other forum i frequent is blocked at work except NA -but i cant view any pics on the work computer. sega's not that much of a dirty word around here, you'll find quiet a few members that are completing or have already completed there sets.
