TECHLORDS! I NEED YOUR HELP! LINES FOLLOWING THE CHARATERS

i GOT A HOLD OF A TOASTER TODAY!. I PERFORMED THE USUAL PRE CLEAN TEST.  WITH MIKE TYSON'S PUNCH-OUT AND SUPER MARIO BROS. (BOTH CLEANED THOROUGHLY ) LINES RUN THROUGH MIKE TYSON , LITTLE MAC AND DOC SCREEN.   TWO LINES FLANK MARIO AS HE RUNS ALONG THE INTRO SCREEN (NO BIGGIE I HAVE ENCOUNTERED THIS BEFORE). OK DIRTY 72 PIN CONNECTOR. I DID THE USUAL CLEAN , RESPRUNG  AND REINSTALLED THE PINS.  POWER ON ; SAME ISSUE. INSTALLED A BRAND NEW 72 PIN CONNECTOR, SAME ISSUE.  CAN ANYONE FILL ME IN ON IF THIS ISSUE CAN BE RESOLVED OR IS THIS AN UNFIXABLE GLITCH! BTW, I AM NOT SHOUTING, FORGOT TO UNLOCK THE CAPS AND I HAVE TO RUN TO THE STORE.

    I have a similar issue with a toaster. The graphics are semi-scrambled but the game plays fine. I put in a new pin and the same issue. Many different games, same issue. I have a feeling the PPU (Picture processing Unit) may be screwed up, at least in my scenario.

    Any info is appreciated, as I'd like to fix up my bunk toaster too!

    JUST PLAYED MIKE TYSONS PUNCH OUT! Everyone looks fine except the opponents have three lines running top to bottom right through them. btw guys : Thanks for moving it to the right place. I place the thread in the brew section because I thought it would get ASAP response from our tech heads (since it was a tech question).
