Prison apparently isn't as bad as they say....
I bought this locally, in a lot from a guy. This console apparently was once used by prisoners at Kent institution, which is a local prison from my area. I love the tamper proof tape.

Do you have a closeup of the tamper tape? What does it say? Can you imagine the things those guys went through to get a turn to play? lol. This would be an awesome poll subject Chris... A "What would you do for a turn to play NES while in prison..." lol
The Tamper tape has no writing on it, its just a very shiny tinfoil like tape. the tape is also on the opposite side of the console as well.

yup, I am definitely keeping this system. It will make a nice conversational piece to have. Too bad i'll never be able to change the pin connector without the risk of the system becoming contraband.

That's an awesome find, lets just hope they don't arrest you now for smuggling it out of there.
1.Did it have controllers? If so boil them in bleach.
2.You should open it, I can only imagine what you may find inside.
3. Did it come with a copy of Street Cop?
