That gold N64 controller is a Toys R Us exclusive, no?
Not sure, probably only worth $10-$15, the joystick on this one is a little loose.
New find: Super Nintendo + N64 package with bonus Sega stuff
Here is the list, I haven't picked it up yet but it is a sealed deal. We'll see what kind of condition the stuff is in. Will update with pics after I pick it up. Some of the games include manuals/strategy guides. Not sure what Sega stuff is included but he said "a system with a bunch of games".

Tried to haggle as much as I could but ended up at $275 for everything. Still an excellent deal.
Yeah, to my knowledge that controller was a Toys R' Us exclusive. It's actually worth quite a bit more than other ones. If it had a tight stick you could sell it for $20 easy, and even upwards of $30. Someone had one on craigslist here for about $35 and it sold. I wouldn't pay that much...but it is pretty!

Is there a way to tighten N64 controller joysticks up? I have a box of at least 20 of them that I can't get rid of because the joysticks are too loose.
You can buy joystick replacements on Ebay and swap them out, but I've heard it's kind of a bitch. Not too difficult technically I've heard, but just kind of a hassle. But I've only seen the replacement sticks on Ebay for $6+ shipping which almost defeats the purpose of trying, but it may be worth it on some of the more desired colors (and the Gold one)
Yeah replacing N64 sticks isn't worth it. I successfully did it one and it took me about 20 minutes though I'm sure that time would go down with a learning curve if repeated frequently. They are actually MUCH more complex than you'd think. I think it's about 7 screws on the back (2 in the memory card slot), then more screws in the joystick unit and the joystick unit is about 3 or 4 smaller parts that require careful orientation otherwise it won't work.
Also, not sure that the Gold Controller was a Toy's R US Exclusive, though I know the Xtreme Green one is. I'd say a Gold controller is worth $15-$20 and if you get anymore it was from a newb who overpaid (which does happen).
Yeah, its worth looking into for me since I just counted, and I have 26 controllers of varying colors with joysticks that are far too loose to resell. Maybe I can turn them into some kind of decoration or Halloween costume, LOL!
kat and steve were looking for contorllers that were in good shape but there was someone who wanted n64 controllers with loose sticks they were gonna pulle parts out of i think it was gamecube controllers to refurb them
found the posting looks liek they got what they wanted but ya never know
O.K. - picked up the SNES/N64 lot today, and some other stuff. See list a few posts back for SNES/N64 games. The SNES/N64/Sega Genesis lot cost me $275 and $10 in gas. A very mint SNES was included, but I forgot it in the picture.
Other stuff I picked up:
3 loose NES carts (TMNT, Tetris, Galaga) - free
Teal Game Boy Color w/2 carrying cases, 9 games including Pokemon red/yellow/blue, lots of accessories - $30
Diddy Kong Racing promo VHS tape - $1
Zone of the Enders: 2nd Runner ($30 ps2 game) - $10
Street Fighter: Anniversary Collection (ps2) - $10
Destroy All Humans 2 (ps2) - $8
Not sure if the following have any value but they caught my eye so I picked them up:
2 ancient Dungeons & Dragons PC games (on 5 1/4 floppies, and in mint condition too!) - $1 each
2 Heroes Quests Milton Bradley board games (anyone remember these?) - 50 cents each
I would guess that I can double my money on everything I bought today
So ya know, the "X" in Mega Man X does not stand for 10. X is actually his name in that series.
Actually I copy-pasted the guys list he e-mailed to me. I noticed that typo too but didn't catch it when I posted. Mega Man is my favorite series of games. Lol!
Coincidentally, if you count the Game Boy games, I think Mega Man X actually was the tenth Mega Man game to be released
Man, that's a great score! Not only did you get some awesome SNES RPG's, but you also picked up a pair of my absolute favorite SNES controllers - Asciiware! Not only are they solid-ass controllers, but you also get the colorful buttons, just like Super Fami controllers!
Here is my awesome PS1 find from Craigslist today. When I got there I asked if he had any other stuff and ended up picking out 6 decent PS2 games. Sorry for the slightly blurry pics. The big problem with this stuff is that the jewel cases for the 2 and 3 disc games are almost all cracked (even though the discs/manuals/inserts are near mint). If anyone has any replacement PS1 jewel cases I would pay a decent price.
Price paid for this entire lot: $65 Resale value after fees and shipping: ~300ish
PS1 Games: Persona Parasite Eve Wing Commander IV Final Fantasy Anthology Final Fantasy Chronicles w/FFIV and revamped Chrono Trigger Panzer General Final Fantasy IX Final Fantasy VIII Street Fighter Collection Tales of Destiny Suikoden Bugs Bunny Abe's Oddyssee Tomb Raider II Nascar 99 Tekken 3 Soul Reaver Tecmo Deception Tenchu 2 007: Tomorrow Never Dies Jurassic Park
PS Games: DarkWatch Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance Final Fantasy XII Dragonball Z Tenkaichi 3 Final Fantasy Dirge of Cerberus God of War II
6 nice GBA games (Mario 3, Sonic 2, Book Worm, some Candy Land multi-pack, Army Men Advance, CIB Mario & Luigi SuperStar Saga)
Some random PS1 magazines
2 GameCubes w/controllers, games (including Mario Party 7 w/mic, Super Mario Sunshine, Luigi's Mansion, Pac-Man Fever, Zelda: WindWaker, Smash Bros., Mario Kart), Game Boy Advance Player adapter, and memory cards
CIB Sega 32X expansion module
~15 random N64 games (only a couple decent ones, nothing rare)
Some minty NES papers
Random Sega Genesis crap
CIB 1987 Nintendo (not sealed)
My 21 year-old cat
PICS:
Looks like this NES had some TLC from the service center:
I opened a blank DVD case and found 3 loose GameCube discs, it was a pleasant surprise to see Mario Kart Double Dash, Zelda: WindWaker, and Smash Bros. Melee!
It doesn't look like this Nintendo was ever used or even taken out of the plastic. It all still has all the inserts/manuals and that "1980's brand new plastic"' smell!
TOTAL PAID: $220
Resale value: ?? (not sure until I go through all the PS1 games, probably somewhere around $700 afer I replace the 72-pins on the two loose NES systems)
