What a great week!
Hello everyone!

This past week has been really good for me in terms of finds!
Here is a factory sealed first gen Gameboy, the tetris bundled one, that I found for $35 dollars at a garage sale. I tried to talk the guy down to 25 bucks, but he wouldn't budge

Very minty!
I also came up on two factory sealed games, Videomation and Alien Syndrome, for 10 bucks each in a huge box of common CIBs at a flea market, as well as 11 other minty CIBs I've been looking for, all for about 5-10 bucks each. I forgot to take pictures of the sealed games before I came to my mom's house for the weekend, but they are very minty as well!
Are there any Gameboy collectors on here that have been looking for a sealed Gameboy console? I am probably going to end up either trading the console for some good NES CIBs, or selling it and using the money to buy more CIBs.
I will try to keep this thread updated with all my finds. I work from home so I end up having a lot of free time, during peak scouring hours, to search all around for finds like these. Happy searching everybody!

good find. What games did you get?
Let me see if I can remember... I don't know if I'll be able to recall all the titles (like I said, doing the family thing at my mom's place right now
Basically, the gameboy buy was consensual sex. If you would have got him down to $25 it would have been rape!
HA!
You got a killer deal on that Gameboy for sure.

HA! I honestly almost laughed out loud at myself when I asked him if he would bring the price down to $25. In the end, I'm glad I just paid the price he wanted because (hopefully) we were both happy with the transaction.
Damn, another great find. That Gameboy is worth a pretty penny
Yea, I knew the Gameboy would definitely be worth more than I paid for it, but I've honestly had a bit of a hard time finding an accurate estimate of what it's actually worth. I've heard everything from $300 all the up to $1200. Are these all shots in the dark, or is there a general value most people have agreed on? I would just check eBay, but there are honestly not a lot of these things that have shown up on there, especially in this kind of condition.

The same model is posted new on amazon for $900. Granted, that's definately on the high side, but it's a frame of reference. Here's the link:
