SNES small lot I purchased today.

I actually didn't have a SNES anymore, so this was a good deal to me.  It's a friend of mine that didn't want this stuff anymore.  I got the following for $100:

SNES console with 1 controller.

Mega Man X
Super Mario World
Donkey Kong Country
Donkey Kong Country 2
Super Punch Out
Super Metroid
Zelda Link to the Past
Super Castlevania IV
Street Fighter II
3 shitty sports games that I will give away to whoever wants to pay shipping for them lol (John Madden Football, Baseball Tonight and Stanley Cup).

Pic attached(if I did it right).

I'm pleased with it at least.

  • Seems like a fair deal to me. As long as your are happy that is what counts. It is hard to get them for real cheap now unless you just get lucky and are the first person to stumble upon it. Also, too many people know they can get more for their stuff now. It is still alot cheaper than what they cost back in the day. I remember buying a brand new game for $70 or $80. You got the entire lot for a little more than that.
  • Not a bad deal since you have a lot of the popular games. You can probably flip some of those games a get almost all your money back.

That's the way I feel. I mostly buy games to play, not to collect a set or to resell, so when I can find games in the wild for under $5 a piece, it's a steal. It means you can get 12 games for the price of one new one. And the hours of entertainment are well worth it.

As long as you're happy with the price and you feel it's fair for the amount of fun you'll get out of it, that's what's important. I mean, movie tickets cost so much these days, but don't entertain you for more than 2 hours or so. Video games can give you 6-20+ hours of fun a piece.

Ha! Depends on the game image.
  • good find! you got some good games in there!
  • That's one hell of a player's lot. Worth every penny IMO. Although you paid about retail (read: FAIR retail) for them, coulda done better -- but getting them all as a lot is a great timesaver.
  • Yeah, it was a friends so I wasn't trying to low ball him on the price or anything. I felt $100 was a good offer, especially considering it came with the console as well. I'm super happy with the games for the most part... I love Zelda and Metroid the most, of course.

Found out another one of my friends is going to give me another copy of Zelda and Super Punch Out(and some more I can't remember) for free, even though I offered him money. I'll post them and some other stuff up as soon as I get them for cheap if anyone needs them.

    Thanks guys.

  • Plenty of great titles in that lot.
  • Quality pickup man. Although not a steal by any means, you've got plenty of quality games and a good console to play them on. I too and not one to flip games, only when the right deal comes along. Plus, it was your friend so all is good. Quality.
  • You have a lot of fun ahead of you with that bunch.
  • great deal imo, All great games and not a bad price either!
