Shipping a large set of CIB snes games

Hey, I recently have come to thinking I may part with my SNES CIB collection. Going to graduate school next fall across the country (from Edmonton to Montreal - Mcgill) made me think it may be time to sell off my collection - I do need the money for a new computer anyway - and figured it is rather to keep lugging all these games around with me. And at the same time I don't feel safe leaving them at home.

I was planning to sell it as a set, presumably on ebay, or perhaps here (wink wink), but had a question regarding shipping. Boy o boy, how or what's the best way to ship these games, safely of course? I have about 50, I guess I'll throw on the list

Condition wise, overall are all very very good. Of course if anyone is interested please let me know. (I may not sell them until I am done school, but we'll see)

But the main question I have is how/what's the best way to ship them, and possible associated costs.

Thanks

PS If anyone also knows the rough price, of a good deal , please let me know image. I don't want to be undercut but won't be gouging anyone either. It seems like this topic would fit under several categories!

  • I'd sell them on here before doing Ebay. I used to sell all the time on Ebay but there fees have gotten ridiculous. You will loose alot in fees and you can sell them on here and not get charged any. Anyway, if you do decide to wait to sell them are there any that you possibly would let go??
  • All of them. As much I love them, and have very fond memories of the games playing with friends and what not, I found myself rarely playing these games in the past few months. Possibly due to school, and figured I may as well let someone else get the enjoyment I had from them too. (and the money helps too, of course image)
  • Langenfeld is the master at shipping bulk crap!
  • Alright, hopefully he'll stop by soon. And as I mentioned before they are all for sale, I'd love to sell them in a lot. If you are very interested I will get some pics this weekend. (I also have brainlords CIB just forgot to put it up)

PS MM2-6 Sealed are most likely next on the chopping block, all of them are in very very good condition, especially 2 is unreal how nice it looks!
  • Hey dude, I little trick that I use I haven't seen anyone else do, is saran wrap. I have a huge roll from Costco, and I wrap the game so that is like it's sealed. Then I wrap in bubble wrap individually usually. The saran wrap just gives it that extra wrapping of protections from rubbing wear.I don't find bubble wrap that forgiving against rubbing and corner wear.

I also wouldn't ship to many in one box. If you sell as a lot, at least break the lot up into a few lots. Example

Lot 1 - All the Mega Mans

Lot 2 - All the Marios

Lot 3 - All the RPGs

    etc.
  • Ah those are both very good ideas Tux, thank you.
