Needing help with USPS insurance claim...

Long story short, I traded my NES Test Station setup for a stack of PS1 and PS2 RPGs (a couple others mixed in).  I sent it Priority Mail, with delivery confirmation and insured for $800.  The other trader received it, but it had been severely damaged in transit (he hasn't sent me pics, but from his description, it's *very* badly damaged).  Basically, what I'm needing is some sort of proof of value...I'm not coming up with any recently-ended eBay listings immediately or anything of that sort...  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I know otto keeps a list of what most Service Center items end for on Ebey, he might be able to help you out there. That sucks about the test station. image

    Nothing for three months on my end. Hopefully he saved the HTML for a closed listing he can print out.

    I don't know if it will help, but I have old auctions in PDF format...send me your e-mail address and I can e-mail them to you tomorrow. I haven't seen any off of ebay lately that have actually sold.

    Good luck filing a insurance claim, USPS is a PAIN with insurance stuff, esp expensive stuff.
