  • lol, I hope its something else.
  • hahaha wtf? I hope you didnt get jipped.
  • Does he accept returns?
  • Yes I am talking about "that" immortal.

And I generally dont buy online if I can help it. I like to look and examine what I buy. People on here actually will send photos that are detailed, but as a norm elsewhere they do not. Also there really arent any retro stores around here at all. So yes, I dont feel ripped of no. To me, being able to have something thats pretty mint, that I was able to see in person, is worth the extra $10. Sorry if you guys dont seem to think so. I have been ripped off too many times online and this is a good alternative alot.
  • Hrm... well I guess as long as you are happy, right?

But yeah, I'd say you paid just a weeeeeeee more than "an extra $10".
  • In your case, not a bad deal. image
  • i wouldve sold you this for $5 if you would come to me to pick it up.
  • It's far from a $25 game, but hey, it could be worse.
  • I have to chime in here:  Being as this was from one of only two halfway decent classic game shops within a reasonable driving distance and knowing that Pendragon and myself were looking for it, I took a chance and picked up a couple of complete copies for 25 each as well as Ultima Quest of the Avatar.  While that may sound a bit expensive to some , I've never had any problems with the conditions of the games or books that this guy sells.  Being fairly new to CIB collecting, it sounded reasonable to me, and I do like to support my local game shops.  This guy does have a fairly extensive inventory, and like I said, his games (from the "back room") are usually in great condition.

Perhaps some of you have heard of Video Game Exchange in Plaistow NH?

  • For future reference, there are plenty of people here that will GLADLY help you get a good idea of decent prices for CIB titles. I say this because you said you're new to the CIB side of it, and it really will save you a ton of money in the long haul.
  • When he puts it that way though, it's not too bad. I've paid $20+ for $10 CIBs because they were dead mint before. If he's happy with the deal, then there's no issue.
  • for that extra 10$ you could have gotten a mediocre lot on ebay lol
  • On the flip side, the extra $10 ensures that it's in his hand in the same condition it was in when it left. I've had so much shit arrive that wasn't up to par because of the mail over the years. It may be expensive to buy shit locally, but it removes so many variables it justifies paying a few extra bucks. Plus he can play it now instead of waiting 2 or 3 weeks for it.
  • Thank you for the understanding of my way of thinking guys! image
  • Yeah, you've done the right thing after all, and nobody else is allowed to decide if you did good or not.

But... you know... if everybody were posting a Finders Keeper everytime they find a CIB in the wild... but that's another debate. image
