Not amazing but still good for $1.08
I went to a Salvation Army and guess what I got! A Excitebike 64 cart. The only problems are is that it has a a Blockbuster rental sticker and some permanent black marker on the cart, but nothing on the label, thankfully.

Thanks
Nice find dude but we have a thread for small finds like that (I'm guilty of this myself) so the Finders Keepers thread doesn't get cluttered.

Thanks
We all do that though man
He is right, unless it's an epic score for cheap, an epic score in general, or a rare game, it's probably not thread-worthy (unless you have a general finds thread where you post every good deal you get of course). That said, you really can't complain about a $1 game

Interesting... (that's a very diplomatic way of putting it!. p; I did get one good offer from it so the "want" list wasn't completely wasteful.)
Rubbing
Alcohol can more than likely remove the Permanent Marker.. I remove
Sharpie's off of stuff all the time this way. And there is solutions to
remove labels cleanly like Bestine which can be found at places like
crafts and art stores. Neither of these will damage a plastic surface.
Use this stuff all the time to remove price stickers and stuff from my
DVD's and tape goop from my RC equipment.
Bestine is HIGHLY toxic
The black marker just won't budge with rubbing alcohol. I'm not sure how I'd get a clear Blockbuster rental sticker off it without damaging the label or back instructions. Yeah, I've heard horror stories about bestine, so I'll stray from it.
Must not be a normal sharpie then.. Don't know anything else that will not damage the plastic.. Yea Bestine is not the greatest as far as toxicity but if used properly it is far superior than anything else at getting labels off of things.. You just don't want to soak your fingers in it or anything as it does soak through the skin which is the part that is bad.. I have been using it for years. with bestine you can soak a label (paper label) and get it off with minimal loss of adhesion. The stuff evaporates quickly so large labels are difficult but it can be done.. The block buster label being plastic would be a little more difficult you would probably have to soak the back of the cartridge and remove the label while soaking which means gloves and everything. This would force removal of the entire label including the game label and then with the wet game label remove it from the plastic label and HOPE all goes well.. I probably wouldn't try it myself...
