Can't access chat

So I've never really gone to the chat to begin with, but I've occasionally clicked on the Chat link and it takes me to a blank white screen that says "You must be logged in to use chat." and that is all.

I thought I might have been doing something wrong and never mentioned it, but I've noticed it for at least 2 weeks now.  I've only tried from the work computer and it's Windows XP and Firefox 3.5.8.  Curious as to what the problem could be?

    Is it possible that chat programs are blocked at your work? It just shows up white for me as well at work.

    This used to happen for me on my mac, but it worked properly on my mom's PC. Then I complained an now it works on both. So you're probably going down the right road.

    can you try going into chat from tinychat.com/nintendoage ?

    Does that still send you to a different room from chat.nintendoage.com or is it unified again?

    It takes me to a screen that asks me for a password?

    Also, there is absolutely nothing blocked by my work at all.  I'm at my contractor office, not the Government base (which blocks everything from fantasy sports to social networking to private email and anything video game related).

    Unfortunately I'm about to head home for the day, I'll try again tomorrow and see if it works.

    HELP cant make "new topic" on chats same messge come up for me too! & IM LOGGED IN DAMN IT! please fix this
