No offense, but those were already knocked off the list. It'd make my life a bit easier if I didn't have to check the list for nothing. Please, before posting, check the original post to make sure the game is still listed in green. I don't want to discourage participation, or discourage people from playing games that are knocked off, I would just prefer to see only unlisted games get posted in this thread, and games that've already been listed be mentioned in the "beaten in 2010" thread.
Although I do agree, Toki was a damn fun game, but it could've been a bit longer.
I'm surprised no one has claimed Metroid yet, so I went ahead and beat it. This was my first time drawing out the map as I went along, and it was sweet. Then I used said map to blaze through for the best ending. I feel like I actually beat it this time.
I'm pretty sure there's a point where the tracks loop. Just gotta verify WHERE that loop is. Think it's 32, just too lazy to look right now (8 am, still haven't slept...stupid insomnia).
OK, yes i think it's 32 tracks. I guess it less in Pro-Am II (about 28?)
I just finished Whomp Em. Awesome game! Only played it twice before.
Edit: I also completed Shadowgate. One of very few games (I think there are only three) for which there is a Swedish version with screen text in Swedish. The music in this game is really great.
Just beat Zanac after going on a little NES kick today (that started out as a simple test to make sure my new 5-screw Castlevania cart was working - ended up beating that game too...)
Karate Champ loops after the 10th fight. And I made to the 20th fight, but ended up losing to red guy again, which can be seen on the very blurry picture.
This was much funnier than I thought it would. I found a few attack patterns that the computer has tons of trouble defending against.
Goddamn it, I WILL beat Cowboy Kid. First time playing it and I died on the last boss and had no continues remaining. Was playing with a friend too, so it was amusing having him cheering for me to die for two levels while I no-deathed the game simply cuz he wanted back in Anyway, no big deal, I tried again. Got to the first mini-boss on the last level, and caused a glitch that made my character disappear. Bullets were still flying, but I couldn't go anywhere. Needless to say, I was pissed! Ugh, this game WILL fall by my hand or I'ma gonna cry
Aladdin Asterix Aussie Rules Footy Banana Prince Championship Rally (PAL-A) Crackout Beauty and the Beast The Lion King Devil World The Smurfs Dropzone Elite
I think I'm gonna count them like I do homebrews - not affecting the actual stats, but tracking what's done. Reason being it's tough to knock off games that are unplayable without being able to read Japanese. If you beat a FC version of a PAL or US released title, I'll still count it as an NES version unless it's significantly different from the PAL/US version.
Getting into famicom games seems a little ambitious for this project. There are just way too games and the language barriers as Wiz mentioned. I just finished Crisis force the other day but didn't consider mentioning it. PAL exclusives are a nice bonus and homebrews should be counted for fun, but we may as well keep it focused on the main goal; the US releases.
Oh, I am counting PAL exclusives. There's enough PAL collectors that play them, plus they're emulatable with few (if any) language issues. Thus, they're edited into the main queue. Famicom is just too ambitious...maybe like a lifetime project, but not good as a one-year timelike challenge. As for homebrews, they're removed from the list due to not being as widespread, and if I included them I'd have to include potential new releases that come out before year's end...even if it's released on December 31. Therefore, it's a fun listing. But US and European games are all in.

God damn! I'd like to continue beating games, too bad my NES is located around 1300 kilometres away from me.

Kudos to all players!
EDIT: Oh WTF? I can use the Tool Bar for post texting on IE but not on Opera? God damn, at least I have improved my HMTL skills.
Just beat Dragon's Lair. Probably the shortest NES game.
Holy Crap. You are my hero. How the hell did you have the patience and endurance to withstand this miserable POS?
Oh, and well done!
YES! Finally! Please mark me down for Bandai Golf: Challenge Pebble Beach! Sheesh!
Although is quite boring I enjoy playing it. The music is nice.
Is it possible to beat R.C. Pro-Am? Doesn't it continue for ever?

-There are a total of 99 Tracks. When you beat Track 99 it continues on to
Track R6, then onto R9 and so forth. Since the Track numbers start getting
wacky after Track 99, I would call finishing Track 99 beating the game, since
there is no actual ending.
R.C. PRO-AM II (Tradewest)
-There are a total of 36 Tracks in this game. When you finish Track 36 (must
finish in the top 3) you will get a screen showing your total points and the
highest track you completed, Track 36 obviously. The points screen is the
only ending screen you get, as it goes directly to the title screen from here.
I don't know if 99 tracks in RC Pro Am is humanly possible...I say if it loops sooner, then that's where it ends. I just don't know where the loop is.
Fun, silly game. Brought back memories from when I was 12 and first played it.
And, damn, Slalom Skiing is one hard event. ._.
Now back at getting whacked down by red karate gi guy...
edit:
Make it the 9th guy. I believe that right after him it should start looping. Tonight he will go down. Ah, he will.
I'll post a picture as soon as I beat the hell out of him.

Can I consider myself the new master of pop culture trivia circa 1989? Remote Control has fallen.
Any chance you have a list of PAL exclusives? Kinda too lazy to look for it, but I'd like to add them into the queue as well
