Took down Bucky O'Hare today!(Even though it's already on the list) Did it with the NES advantage too! Gotta love the dial-a-turbo! It's been awhile since I've played a game so long, and so challenging!
Thanks for noting that it was already marked off. Saves me from checking I agree though, it's a LONG freakin' game, but it's also quite well done. I personally really liked it back in the day (used to rent the shit out of it), although I haven't played much in recent years.
Just played Tiger Heli for 2.5 hours straight with the help of the game genie. I died at least 200 times and rolled the score board. That being said...I never beat it, and although the boards did look familiar, the enemies were always in new spots...so the game never repeated itself. The pics posted show that I have 30 guys and already rolled the score... I call this game unbeatable and should be taken off the list...
Hey I know how you feel. I had to play Back to the Future for this thing. It's a game that I already beat years ago and never thought I would have to play again. I'm just glad that Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde was already crossed off before I noticed this thread.
HEY! Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde isn't that bad! After all, it IS a game about not getting pissed off, and yet it inspires that very thing in anyone who tries to play it.... Honestly, the game is innovated, but poorly executed. I'd say it and T2 are about equal, with a slight nod to T2 for having more action.
Bea, I'm going to pretend you didn't mention Super Pitfall... I still have nightmares....
3, Stage 4, rinse and repeat. I guess finishing Stage 4 the first time
through would be considered beating the game, since there is no other
landmark stage or anything new to discover.
Beni, 2.5 hours was a bit of overkill as per AdamL, but rolling the score would definitely qualify for the list. So-called "unbeatable" games almost always have a way to be knocked off. In this case, the stages repeat, even if the enemy locations are random. Or you could consider beating the default high score to be beating it. Or both. I will say your ass-raping of Tiger Heli will get it knocked off in your name though
Anyway, I've been plugging away at Might & Magic the last few days. Not super-far into it, I've visited 4 of the 5 people I'm supposed to see, characters are all at Level 5, and I have some nice gear. Working on grinding out some cash to get the best stuff I can get, probably get to Level 6 by the time I get the cash I need, even if it's only with a few characters and not all 6. Luckily I found a Plate Mail +1 in battle, saving me 2500gp This is probably the furthest I've ever made it in the game, which is awesome considering I've been playing it off and on for the last 15 years, not to mention that the only help I'm getting is from the mail order guide I have (which gives nothing more than maps and equipment lists, and neither are fully accurate anyway), along with a few vague hints. I'm rather enjoying the experience, even if it means I'm not knocking off many games from the list at this point
Hey, thanks for listing me for Dragon Warrior II. I completely forgot about this thread. I've beaten several others, too, but they're already marked. Cheers, everyone - let's fill the list!
Also, do you need screenshots as proof? Just curious so I can be sure to take a pic when/if I beat one that's not marked yet.
Is there any way we can link each users name so when you click on it, it will tell you specifically what games they have beaten? Would be quicker browsing to see who has beaten what... Just a thought
Just finished Deja Vu. I really wish Kemco would have made more than a few games in this style. I would also like to get a repro of NES Deja Vu II if the rom ever gets found. The GBC version will have to do for now.

Only way I can think to do it is via off-site links or to put them in the original post, either way being too much work for me to feel like doing. You're welcome to do the work and send me the links to edit them in if you'd like though.
TIGER-HELI (Acclaim) -There is no ending. Three of the stages continuously repeat, though Stage 1 is unique and you only play through it once. Basically, the game seems to go: Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, Stage 4, Stage 2, Stage 3, Stage 4, Stage 2, Stage 3, Stage 4, rinse and repeat. I guess finishing Stage 4 the first time through would be considered beating the game, since there is no other landmark stage or anything new to discover.

Forgive me if I missed something but, in the Tiger-Heli post he said he used Game Genie.
I was under the impression that we were supposed to beat these games legit. Not that it's hard to beat the four Tiger-Heli stages, but still.

Yeah, I did use game genie...did I get credit for completion... Did not even notice. Definitely should take my name off the list for completing that one. I was using the genie just to practice and see what the ending would be like...When I get around to it...I MIGHT try and get through the first 4 levels...

I would love to do it, but I don't know dick about setting up websites...maybe a link to a "hidden" post here on NA would work...once again...I don't know dick about building/linking websites... Like I said, would love to do it....but...

I think if you link to a private topic that you're not invited to view, you can't see it. Not certain on that mind you, but I'm pretty sure. You could set them up as blog posts here on NA though...but even that would make for a long-ass listing.

Played it until stage 13 just to make sure.

I swear I'm never touching this game again. Urgh.
It's beyond awful! Rambo looks like a master piece next to it.
I have beaten Terminator 2.

WTF? Terminator 2 kicks ass. =O
The damned motorcycle ride stage?
Having to shoot people's knees at Pescadero hospital?
The 80 seconds to place the bombs and run away at Cyberdyne?
And the insane jumps at stage 5?
Not my kind of game. It has awesome graphics, but I couldn't enjoy it as much as I enjoy Super Pitfall, Predator, Rambo and other masterpieces.
I can see other people enjoying it, though.
Bea, I'm going to pretend you didn't mention Super Pitfall... I still have nightmares....
