  • I think we need help from the webmaster or a mod....
  • Beat Tetris 2 on highest speed.

I was first going for Noah's Ark, but that game is seriously kicking my arse. BAD.
  • Still working on Might & Magic myself. Taking forever, but I kinda expected that.
  • 1942, what a pushover of a game, first attempt, one continue on level 4

wacky after Track 99, I would call finishing Track 99 beating the game, since
    there is no actual ending.

    R.C. PRO-AM II (Tradewest)
-There are a total of 36 Tracks in this game. When you finish Track 36 (must
finish in the top 3) you will get a screen showing your total points and the
highest track you completed, Track 36 obviously. The points screen is the
only ending screen you get, as it goes directly to the title screen from here.

I don't know if 99 tracks in RC Pro Am is humanly possible...I say if it loops sooner, then that's where it ends. I just don't know where the loop is.

I have palyed this one for years. Love it. But... the game has the car (starts with the red one) that makes that noise and shoots off at top speed. Yes you can shoot him over and over and finish a few more tracks. But then it starts happing to 2 cars and then all 3 other cars do this. You can squeeze a few tracks out, but it gets to a point where it is impossible. It's during the 3rd car. I wanna say stage 26 for some reason. All I'm tring to say is this game is unbeatable.

Unless you can get to the Monster Trucks! Lol.

Part 2 is correct 36 stages. Great game.

Just want to make sure, since you said you continued once on Level 4, that you actually finished all 32 levels and got the Congratulations screen before I add it.

  • I'm still working on Super Pitfall.

A pity I didn't have much time to play during the week. So much fun is being had as I play one of my dearest games during my childhood. image

Absolutely yes, it counts down on the levels.  Levely 32 is first, level 1 is last.  It doesn't make any sense at all but level 4 is really like level 29.  And level 1, the last level is the easiest out of all of them. None of the levels are really tough.  It's like the same level 31 times, with 2 or 3 big planes, then you have level 1, you are expecting something big, and then it's over.

Yeah at the end, one screen that says congratulations, and your shoot down percentage, then the menu screen.  this has to be the worst ending all time for a game. No credits, nothing.
I really fff-d up a few times on level 4  (really 29) so I had to continue once.

I was preparing myself for an all night battle of continues, but this game, was pretty much blah, compared to 1943, the sequel, that I am so good at.

  • Okay, I'll mark you down for it then image Just wanted to verify it, I've never played it myself so I figured I should ask image
  • Beat R.C. proam! I beat level 24, which is considered to be the "end". After that the game just repeats itself.
  • i beat one ending in hot slots and one ending in peek a boo poker this year

Can anyone verify that this is where the game ends?  I know it loops somewhere, but AdamL never bothered to mention WHEN it looped, and the last time I got that far I used the Game Genie as a kid...so it's been about 15 years or so since then image  Once it's confirmed I'll add it up image

Added you for Hot Slots, but Peek-A-Boo Poker was already knocked off by Mr. T image
  • Beat Battleship! (aka annoying sub hunt)

  • Venice Beach Volleyball done
  • Finally took out Adventure Island 2 today, first time beating it. I had to consult with the TAS to not get the wrong path on the final world, which happened to me a couple times before.
  • Currently working on Zoda's Revenge: StarTropics II. I will report once it's finished.
  • I definitely took care of Millipede tonight. I rolled the score twice, and quit after getting 2 million and 256 rounds. At about the 150th round or so, the game became super easy for some reason. The spiders became super slow, and some rounds they didn't even appear. On most, only one would appear. All the enemies besides the millipedes were slowed down as well. I probably could've played for a lot longer.
  • Sounds like if it was on difficulty A you would've had the Twin Galaxies record in no time (2.1 million). The record on difficulty B (4 lives start + one at 20K only, so 5 lives max) is almost 5 million though, but that may be something you should consider, if that sort of thing interests you. Anyway, I'll add you in for it (AdamL says beat level 99, you've clearly superceded that mark).
  • It was on A mode, yeah. Definitely could've smashed that record if I had kept going. It looks as though the B mode record on there is 500k, not 5 million.

Beat Baseball Simulator 1.000 tonight - Won the title in a 5-game season in the Ultra league.
  • I must've misread it. Semi-stoned and sleep deprived here, not to mention I can feel the heat stroke coming on...stupid warm weather. Still, pretty sure you could rape the records if you put your mind to it.
  • I played Rollerball tonight, and according to AdamL's list, this game has no end. He says that if you score over 1 million points, it will show the credits in the score boxes before going back to the title screen. However, if you wait long enough on the title screen, you can also see the credits. There's also no preset scores to beat in the game. I scored over 2 million points, so would this game be considered beaten based on my score and what Adam says about scoring over 1 million points, or should we make up some sort of rule for beating this game for your completion list, Wiz?
  • If you can confirm that you need to hit over a million points for the game to play the credits before the title screen (as opposed to going to the title screen and having to wait), I'm inclined to go with AdamL on that one.
  • I was working on Whomp 'Em, but luckily someone else beat it. The final stage was giving me fits.
  • Just finished all 8 levels of Spy Vs. Spy!

I can confirm this as I have done it in the past.

Ok, I misread what AdamL listed for this game.  It would help if I didn't try to read this stuff at 2 AM when I'm tired image  The only way to see the game credits is to score over 1 million points and go back to the title screen.  It doesn't show the credits on the top score screen after losing your last ball and scoring 1 million points like I initially thought.  After losing all your balls, you let the game go back to the title screen and wait for it to show the top scores and then the credits will roll, that is if you have 1 million points or more.  If you score less than 1 million points, you can't see the credits.  If you have less than 1 million points and let the game go back to the title screen and wait, it only shows you the top scores.  I scored over 2 million points last night and over 1 million today and saw the credits each time.  I turned off the system and played again, scoring only 500,000 points that time around and never saw the credits.  With my 2 million and 1 million point scores, it looks like I've beaten Rollerball.
  • Fair, I'll mark it up as well as the other one just listed image

Just cause someone else beat the game is no reason not to play. Granted, if you were frustrated and wanted to quit anyway then that's understandable.

This is without a doubt one of my favorite threads of all time, but statements like this make me worry that some people will decide not to play games that they want to just because it's already on the list (or play something they hate because it's not). It's all about fun, guys. Play whatever game you feel like.
